Purpose And Overall Relevance For The Organization

As a Key Account Manager INTERSPORT INTERNATIONAL you manage a healthy and sustainable busi-ness with the assigned account by driving profitable market share growth through business plans. You also manage and drive the business and assortment planning of the assigned account/ catego¬ries. You ensure an efficient and effective collaboration and communication flow across all levels and stakeholders, adidas and INTERSPORT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Global & EU adidas division/ category assigned business with INTERSPORT INTER-NATIONAL
  • Manage the assigned category externally (customer, Nat. INTERSPORT KAMs) as a Key Account Manager and internally as a Merchandiser towards the corresponding business units, e.g. be the ext. and int. go-to-person for assigned divisions / categories
  • Execute the seasonal go-to-market process with INTERSPORT, sell-in externally at account sales meetings and hand-over internally to markets
  • Manage the seasonal assortment planning with INTERSPORT and ensure local market needs are covered and drive its implementation
  • Play an active role during the seasonal meetings with Global / EU business units to ensure that customer needs are considered by internal BU colleagues
  • Establish a strong business relationship with your INTERSPORT partners; be the internal INTERSPORT ambassador towards EU business units and CTC functions.
  • Collaborate with INTERSPORT global category team and national INTERSPORT KAMs towards implementation of international strategies and joint initiatives to ensure that our companies SBP matches with the customers strategic business plan
  • Support development of the account strategies, formalization by strategic account plans (3 years category plans) and get sign-off by the line manager
  • Sell-in inline and exclusive propositions and support building the marketing activation plan that is driven by the activation team
  • Ensure continuous monitoring of the order book, linked to the sell in and sell-out performance in the markets
  • Plan regular market visits in Top 4 markets ideally during the national tradeshows or other rele-vant time during the year to get market knowledge and strengthen the relationship with national teams
  • Business Analysis:o Track the Global / EMEA / EU / Banner business development with INTERSPORT by creating reports (e.g. seasonal sell-in analysis) capturing the defined KPI fulfilmento Be aware of sell out development based on INTERSPORT reports and data from our markets o Be an expert of NPD reports, e.g. consumer and POS panel
Controlling
  • Measure progress on brand adidas KPIs
  • Report to all superiors along EMEA/ EU Wholesale guidelines
  • Monitor and report on market trends and competitors in the area and propose/initiate/take ac-tions
KPIs
  • Topline growth, market shares and sell out within division/ categories at assigned account

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
  • Very good level of English in both written and spoken. Additional European language is a plus
  • Very good relationship management, communication and presentation skills
  • Thinking and acting strategically
  • Very good analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a complex / matrix organisation and drive large internal/external groups
  • Passion for sports
  • Exposure: sports, lifestyle, marketing
Required Education And Experience / Minimum Requirements
  • Degree in business administration with sales and marketing focus
  • Functional: > 2 years sales (previous marketing experience is a plus)
  • Industry: ideally in sports/ shoes/ apparel or FMCG
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
