Position SummaryThis is a project management position that requires you to lead the execution of complex labelling and artwork projects across a portfolio of OTC and non-OTC brands across various markets within the EMEA region. Complex labeling projects are defined as new product introductions, major product innovations and redesigns.
The L&A Driver will lead our Client’s internal stakeholders, design agencies, SGK pre-press, printers and suppliers to manage & execute their labeling and artwork changes from design development through to release to the printer. The Sr L&A driver will interact with global, regional and local client stakeholders across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the main day-to-day contact on projects for clients, suppliers and external partners; provide timely responses to all inquiries (e.g. within one (1) business day)
- Attend client meetings as needed; serve as a Subject Matter Expert regarding production processes, capacity, timelines, etc.
- Ensure high quality standards in all client deliverables
- Work with cross-functional teams in the development of project scope and related timelines which meet the goals and priorities of the project. Functions include: L&A Global Drivers, Marketing, Regulatory, Design, SGK Internal and Production site team members, Suppliers, Printers
- Facilitate the design briefing process and cross-functional team status review meetings
- Manage the budget, estimating, and invoicing process
- Monitor production art development from agency handoff through to release to print
- Monitor all design extensions & adaptations across multiple structures and substrates for optimal design and print production results
- Develop, communicate, and manage project priorities, timelines and status to internal and external partners
- Partner with the client & external partners to ensure they meet service level performance and influence KPI’s including cycle time, rounds of revision, and the timely collection of artwork inputs
- Bachelor’s degree within an appropriate discipline such as Business, Graphic Arts, Marketing, Advertising, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the required job
- Experience in project management
- Multi-lingual required; English & German
- Experience Launching New Products, Redesigns, Line Extensions and Maintenance items in a CPG, Private Label or Food Company, Technology, Pharma industries, and Design Agencies
- Experience in consumer or corporate creative/production design
- Experience with or an understanding of the packaging and pre-media prepress process
- Category experience in CPG, Retail Private Label and/or Food Company, Technology, Pharma industries
