Our division is responsible for all IT-based marketing, sales and aftersales activities, as well as the entire digital customer experience of the Mercedes-Benz brand.

This is not only to implement a further expansion of a modernized, future-oriented and secure IT base and the creation of the best digital customer experience, but also the creation of new sales streams by offering new digital services. Our internal platform HIVE acts as our global innovation network and our backbone to deliver more and better digital products. With it, we strive for transparency & collaboration among our global innovation teams. You will be working to assist this quest!

With the outside, we cooperate with start-ups: We are aiming to find the most relevant tech start-ups in the field of marketing, sales and IT. As you can imagine - It is all about loving technology, matchmaking, identifying the right persons, delivering the right message. Communication is at the heart of success & you will be driving it.



Your Tasks In Detail
  • Community management of our HIVE- innovation network in the social intranet and beyond. Including:
  • Content planning and creation incl. creating visuals, writing blog posts & status updates
  • Organization, execution and moderation of monthly webinars and other events
  • Tracking of content performance and community performance objectives
  • Assisting in development and/or evolution of our start-up projects
  • Being involved in the search and introduction process of new start-ups into the company
  • Helping to identify requirements and needs of business units
  • Assisting the implementation of start-up technology to our business partners
  • Team Support in all relevant areas such as
  • Documentation and maintenance of confluence pages
  • Participation and contribution to quarterly and monthly Objectives and Key Results (OKR) planning and review sessions
  • Organize and facilitate team events
  • Working with team members in execution and other projects/ tasks

These are just some of the tasks, so that you get a sense of it. One of our most important asks to future students is willingness to bring in and drive topics by yourself. If you want to own, create and put your spin to a topic, you are at the right spot.

Qualifications
  • Studies: Business administration, information technology, digital marketing or comparable qualification
  • Experience with Social Media, Community Management or related similar experience
  • Good understanding or expertise in IT, innovation and cooperation
  • Excellent organization, time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficiency in problem solving and troubleshooting, pro-active and can-do attitude with solution orientation
  • Very good written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good self-organization and ability to collaborate productively in a geographically distributed teams
  • Previous international experience (educational, vocational, volunteering)
  • Passion for execution of new ideas and innovations, experience with start-ups and/or incubators would be beneficial
  • Experienced with MS-Office & Confluence - image editing and other software nice to have
  • Proficiency in English and German
