Job DescriptionIn order to support the software engineering, Airbus Helicopters is looking for aInternship within Embedded Software Engineering (d/f/m)Airbus Helicopters’ Software department is responsible for the development and integration of embedded software, implementing safety critical functionalities. The team is involved in the development of in-house solutions and is supporting the development of products developed by other entities, ensuring that the development processes follow the applicable guidelines (eg DO-178) for certification.Your locationAt our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.Your tasks and responsibilitiesWithin a cross functional team you will be able to participate to the different development activities:
  • Specification & Validation of the need
  • Coding
  • Testing (on Simulation and with hardware in the loop)
Desired Skills And Qualifications
  • You are passionate about software development
  • You are an enrolled full time student (d/f/m) in engineering studies within electronics, computer science, aerospace, or equivalent
  • You are known to be a Teamplayer
  • Have participated in one or several software development projects
  • You are fluent in English (German/French is beneficial)
  • You are capable to bring in new ideas
