We are looking for a Head of People joining our extended management team and directly reporting to our CEO. As our Head of People you will lead our effort to develop Finoa into the best place to work for highly ambitious, driven talent in Europe and drive the growth of our team – starting locally in Europe’s crypto capital Berlin with a true global mission. We believe that a world-class culture and people strategy are a strong competitive advantage and we commit ourselves to enable our team to be the best they can be.
Hiring strategy and Planning:Align our hiring strategy with our business goals and discuss hiring needs with managers. Build out our internal recruiting team while managing and scaling with external agencies.- EmployerBranding:Develop and promote our employer brand and create campaigns to attract the best and the brightest talents.
- Goal Setting:Help management to think through the best ways to keep the team motivated and on track towards individual and company goals.
- Performance Reviews:Setup a practical process for gathering and sharing feedback in a timely manner. Work with managers on best practices around giving feedback.
- Bar Raiser:Push hiring and performance standards towards excellence. Work with leadership to identify top performers and make sure they are rewarded appropriately; as well identify low performers and implement a performance improvement plan.
- ScaleCulture:Codify and cultivate our company culture and virtues. Ensure managers are leading by example, embracing the virtues and culture in themselves and their teams.
- Employee Happiness:Think strategically about employees wellness. Identify and resolve productivity issues and help leadership to keep the team motivated and on track.
- You have 5+ years of experience in people related fields within a fast-paced environment.
- You have experience in scaling a team from 50 to 200 people while developing and embracing a strong culture and virtues driven organization.
- You have experience in building out and managing a people function (incl. managing external recruiting agencies).
- You are a people’s person – you enjoy meeting people and learning about them, are a good listener and reader and display a caring, compassionate and trustful nature towards others.
- You thrive in an entrepreneurial team proactively taking initiative and ownership within the people function as well as propose ideas and best practices within the whole organization.
- You prioritize well and deliver exceptional work with limited direction demonstrating excellent critical judgement and accurate gut feel.
- You are fluent in English, working knowledge in German is a (small) plus.
