HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING


In the course of the program, the finance & controlling intern will get to know the different processes within the finance department, particularly business case adaptation, controlling, and support the Team in tasks and special projects in the following areas:
  • Take over activities within month-end closing process and ensure timely delivery
  • Preparation of balance sheet schedules and reconciliations
  • Review the Monthly/Quarterly SOX 404 checklist completion
  • Assist in the annual planning process for DACH
  • Perform regular and ad-hoc business and financial analyses
  • Drive standardization and simplification throughout the reporting needs of the Division
  • Support the preparation of management presentations
  • Review monthly results and implement variance analyses vs. budget / PY
  • Analyse customer profitability, prepare margin analysis reports and develop and present proposal analysis


YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Controlling, Finance or Business degree
  • Previous work experience in Financial management & Controlling will be an advantage
  • Proficient use of MS Office (Excel & Power Point) and preferably basic knowledge in SAP
  • Outstanding analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and determination to achieve.
  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks / work well under pressure.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Ability to work independently and to take initiative.
  • Strong team-player
  • Proficient English written and spoken. German knowledge is a plus.
