For our site in Siegen, we are currently looking for an Engineering Quality Manager

In this role you will manage the Engineering Quality Team to ensure the deliveries from the site are at the right quality level

Responsibilities
  • Makes sure that Engineering standards are well known and applied
  • Improves Quality Engineering standards with the return of experience
  • Ensures that Tender Design Review and Tender Gate Review is implemented, monitored, and maintained
  • Manages the assurance of quality of Metier Engineering deliverables
  • Makes sure that Design Reviews are efficiently held
  • Manage Engineering Quality issues
Performance Measurements
  • Pre-engineering milestone Go on time and tender Gate Reviews, Design Review on time
  • Cost of Non-Quality with Engineering root cause and No Recurrence engineering issue
  • Monitor Gaps between métier rules and project execution and alert in case of deviation
Qualifications
  • MASTER degree in Engineering (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical…) or equivalent
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools.
  • Knowledge of railway industry (norms, certifications…) would be an asset
  • Awareness on Processes and Products delivered in the project,
  • Experience in Quality / audit are appreciated
  • Fluent in English, German
  • Rigorous and ability to deal with different projects and missions. Proactive work behavior.
  • Sense of synthesis and managing complex issues
  • Collaboration/Teamwork and Customer oriented
