About the Tech area:

In this role, you will be working with our Backend Engineers on the mission of enabling stellar product performance and making y42 the slickest data analytics software out there. At the very core of our DNA, we are a product-driven company and your position is a very important hire for us.

As our DevOps Engineer, you will:

• Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health
• Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
• Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our web software solution
• Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye towards pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve
• Provide primary operational support and engineering for the y42 application
  

The role is perfect for you, if you:

• Have professional experience in building products and services
• Completed a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an information technology field
• Are fully proficient in one or more scripting languages, such as Python, Ruby or JavaScript
• Are experienced with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS or similar) and dynamic resource management frameworks (particularly Kubernetes)
• Have a proactive approach to spotting performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement
• Are ambitious and want to grow in an extremely fast-moving environment
