This position will lead/manage the service strategy & roadmap, selection and deployment of End Users Devices in alignment with the global EY strategy. Also Interface with key leaders, global service owners, technology providers and other personnel to develop and maintain the relationships needed to apply the operational stability and innovation goals leading to new ways of working for EY Germany. Also having the opportunity to shape processes and functions within the Business Technology – Germany Core Technology Team:
  • Maintain and develop the End User Device Strategy (Notebooks, Peripherals, EY Office Workspace Setup etc.) and ensure effective realization with external and internal providers
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with key IT service providers to manage and optimize the services and support necessary to ensure devices are meeting the needs of our end users
  • Plan future end user device strategies, including recommendation of new and emerging technologies where appropriate
  • Contact point for Project Managers for EUDM topics e.g. EY office renovations, relocations, etc.
  • Cost and Budget Management activities including budget planning, control, tracking, review of purchase requests etc.

What You Can Contribute – Skills For Shaping The Future
  • Product / Service Ownership - You are an expert in service management, using a range of techniques to work with a multidisciplinary team and translate user needs into deliverables.
  • Financial ownership: you can prioritize spending based on return on investment and are able to secure funding for new products by building and pitching of a business case that you own and iterate throughout the product’s lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of the digital economy: you are aware of the varieties of digital contexts and design service to fit them, keeping up to date with new technologies and their potential use
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Experience from various IT roles, which enable you to manage IT dependencies, drive root cause analysis with expert teams and define Service improvement plans
