As (Senior) HR Manager you build up and further professionalize our talent management in Berlin. You are part of a smaller, yet quickly expanding entrepreneurial team in Berlin, having the opportunity to make a significant impact to an exciting new unit of the company. You are reporting directly to the Managing Director of the digital unit (Sonova Marketing GmbH).

Tasks

  • You continuously monitor and optimize internal talent / HR processes in order to improve candidate experience with our team
  • You own the talent / HR life cycle, from onboarding and talent development to off-boarding and HR reporting
  • You support and advise our team in all personnel-related issues
  • You function as a sparring partner to our management when it comes to HR planning, development and communications
  • You draw up and maintain employment contracts and other talent / HR admin related documentation
  • You utilise talent / HR related software to administer and manage employee data
  • You lead all HR topics at the intersection with Finance & Accounting (e.g. Payroll) as well as Legal (e.g. German labor law specifics)
  • You lead all local talent / HR and culture initiatives such as team events
  • You support developing our early employer branding efforts
Requirements

  • You are highly empathetic, passionate and love working with and developing a broad range of international and diverse talents across a broad range of start-up and digital functions
  • You are a talent / HR all-rounder and enjoy being one – you like to strategize and conceptualize talent / HR related topics, yet also enjoy tackling operational details hands-on as you have a high attention to details
  • You have a profound understanding of German labour law, and preferably a solid understanding of the German tax and social security environment
  • You have 5+ years of experience in similar talent / HR related roles
  • You speak fluent English and German
  • You are experienced in commanding a wide range of modern HR / talent tools to enhance user experience for both external talent and internal team members
  • You have an academic background in business administration, psychology, law or a related field
