WHAT YOU’LL DO

As (Senior) Knowledge Analyst you will work with case (project) teams as an expert for banking operations, cost analysis, and benchmarking.

  • Scope needs of consulting teams and communicate with knowledge teams and software product/benchmark specialists to address them.
  • Provide leverage to case teams by handling discrete pieces of work – ranging from remote support with ad-hoc requests to full staffing on a module or case, occasionally on client site.
  • Perform performance and cost analyses of banks, deliver insights to case teams and participate in discussions on improvement potentials.


You will collaborate closely with the global expert team on innovating our approaches, data, and tools, as well as on the management of day-to-day business.

  • Collaborate across banking segments to identify opportunities for harmonization.
  • Drive efforts to improve the overall quality of benchmarking products across industries and in banking, incl. digitalization of benchmarking services.
  • Contribute to thought leadership by executing on research and analysis for new content.
  • Develop go-to-market and marketing materials, support the commercialization by proactively engaging with partners and case teams.

YOU’RE GOOD AT

You are knowledgeable and passionate about banks and how they operate. You understand the importance of cost efficiency for the banking industry, know typical cost drivers and are familiar with financial statements. In addition, you are enthusiastic learning about our project work and client experiences. You are an analytical thinker and a quick learner. You have a service-oriented mentality, you can think creatively about ways to address business questions through data. You are able to take on new tasks easily and are excited to continually expand and solidify your professional toolkit.


YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (advanced degree preferred) in business administration or other relevant subjects
  • Experience in banking operations, cost benchmarking and optimization, digitalization
  • 2 to 3+ years of relevant industry experience in retail banking or corporate banking process management, operations, or controlling or at least 1 to 2+ years of related consulting experience Working knowledge of basic financial and accounting practices
  • Excellent analytical skills, basic knowledge of statistics, enthusiasm for quantitative and qualitative analysis, and ability to cooperate with data and analytics team
  • Experience with analytical and visualization tools is an advantage, e.g. Tableau
  • Effective in written and verbal communication in English and in German

KT members also support the PA’s business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.
