Group Data Analytics is a division of Allianz SE within the Business Transformation (H10) resort. Group Data Analytics (GDA) is a department in Allianz’s global headquarters. We are responsible for shaping Allianz’s strategic agenda for Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI), and executing Data Analytics and AI solutions at scale, across the entire Allianz Group. Our mission is to add tangible value to our business by driving future business growth and productivity, and enable data-driven transformation and decision-making.

We do this by developing and deploying globally scalable Data Analytics and AI solutions. We work closely with our colleagues driving the new global business model (Allianz Customer Model), to scale the impact of analytics and AI in Claims, Sales, and Operations. We co-develop reusable assets with operational entities (OEs) across the world and make data fit for purpose. This also includes strategic business intelligence projects to create actionable insights and improve data-driven decision making.

We believe that our long-term success also rests on enabling the business and empowering employees to adopt Data Analytics and AI. We do this by creating transparency on AI capabilities and assets, providing expert knowledge to local data science teams, working towards common architecture and coding principles, and running communities of practice. This position will be reporting to the Head of Planning & Controlling within Strategy & Steering.

We are looking for a PMO & Finance Expert to join the Planning & Controlling team in the Strategy & Transformation department within Group Data Analytics to help steering the financials and to oversee the solutions portfolio planning for both GDA and OEs. This position will be reporting to head of planning & controlling, and as subject matter expert for finance and business operations there will be a strong cross-functional collaboration with the various data scientist teams within Group Data Analytics.

  • Contribute to GDA financial management activities, including planning and controlling, modeling and oversight of the GDA group charges and acting as overall subject matter expert for finance related topics within the group center
  • Collaborate within GDA and with Allianz OEs for the annual planning cycles and the collection of data analytics assets
  • Prepare the documentation for the monthly review of the GDA project portfolio
  • Act as a business operations manager for GDA providing support and guidance to the GDA teams (approval of contracts with providers, conduct data privacy assessment reviews, shape contracting framework with OEs, other)
