Job Description


For our R&D Imaging Endoscopy team we are looking for an additional Project Engineer. Endoscopy is a new department that was established to drive forth Brainlab’s ambitions to advance into new medical disciplines. Our current focus is set on minimally invasive surgery where we are closely cooperating with physicians to develop and evaluate novel surgical concepts and workflows.

As a member of our R&D Imaging Endoscopy team you will:

  • Drive and support the product development process
  • Define application workflows and layouts as well as testing and documentation strategies
  • Coordinate, define and execute verification and validation activities
  • Create technical documentation according to international and company standards
  • Generate ideas, concepts and transfer them into prototypes
  • Be involved in feasibility studies
  • Communicate with physicians, development partners and other internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications
  • Education in engineering, science or related discipline, or equivalent working experience
  • Experience with technical documentation for medical devices and working under Design Control
  • Passion for medical technology and innovative applications
  • Experience with CAD (Creo is a plus)
  • Clinical experience / clinical knowledge especially in the endoscopy field is a strong plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Well-organized, proactive and clearly structured working style
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
