For our team in Neu-Isenburg (Frankfurt am Main) we are looking for a

Logistics Procurement Manager DACH (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Transportation Procurement strategies for DACH region
  • Own accountability to deliver productivity targets for Logistics category in DACH region. Act as local business lead to ensure full alignment between Sector and Local teams on Transportation, Warehousing and Pallets agenda.
  • Actively liaise with Global Procurement Category teams, roll-out best practices, participate in global projects
  • Manage change projects that are required to deliver productivity targets
  • Engage with key stakeholders for successful implementation of sourcing projects
  • Liaise with suppliers to deliver innovative ideas/changes to deliver productivity, efficiency and PEP+ agenda on GHG emissions reduction
  • Follow market trends and take proactive measures to reduce costs

Qualifications/Requirements

Your Profile:
  • A strong background in Purchasing within FMCG environment (6 years+)
  • Logistics background essential. Food and Beverages logistics experience preferred
  • German and English fluency in written and spoken
  • University Graduate, preferably engineering or economics
  • Ability to lead and apply strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management and total cost of ownership
  • Strong communication, influencing & aligning skills - Knowledge of German business and key Logistics stakeholders an advantage, to establish collaborative cross-functional and valued working relationships
  • Project management skills. Ability to manage a high level of diverse projects simultaneously
  • Excellent business acumen, knowledge of financial fundamentals and strong analytical skills
  • Able to manage ambiguity and working within a complex, fluid, organizational environment with limited data visibility and diverse processes and stakeholders
  • Customer satisfaction and result oriented mentality
