LTS Lohmann Therapy-Systems is the trusted partner of the pharma industry for the custom manufacturing and development of transdermal patches and other specialty drug delivery formats. LTS has defined an ambitious Sustainability Roadmap, that includes Occupational Safety, Social Aspects as well as Environmental Aspects. Among others, LTS has committed to join the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) and has expressed the ambition to reduce its CO2 emissions by 50 % before 2030.

To help it further refine and implement this roadmap, LTS is recruiting the

HEAD OF SUSTAINABILITY (M/F/D)

a strategic role reporting directly to top management.

The challenge:

• You will lead and coordinate the efforts within LTS to fulfill its ambitious roadmap for sustainability
• Strategically, you will further refine and develop the LTS Sustainability Roadmap in close alignment with various functional departments and with the LTS Global Leadership Team
• You will drive the implementation of the sustainability roadmap throughout the organization by leading the cross functional sustainability team, overlooking the program of measures, securing resources and monitoring progress
• Working closely with our communications experts, you will present the LTS Sustainability Roadmap and our progress externally and internally through various channels, such as our website, social media and others
• You will lead the dialogue with our customers on their expectations, and the various ways in which the LTS Roadmap will fulfill those over time
• Fulfilling our commitments and obligations, you will take ownership of our efforts to advance on a number of key internal and external reporting initiatives such as SBTi, German Sustainability Codex, and the German Supply Chain Regulation

The ideal:

• You bring deep expertise regarding sustainability, the various standards and initiatives
• You have a proven track record of driving results in manufacturing companies on key sustainability initiatives such as reducing emissions
• You communicate easily and professionally across a broad range of audiences, from senior management to customers through to the shopfloor
• Through your ability to motivate and engage, you lead teams successfully, hierarchically as well as in a cross functional setting
• Trough specific training or experience, you structure your work and that of others along best practices for the management of complex programs
• Fluent in English (speaking / writing), proficient in German (speaking / reading)

The Head of Sustainability (m/f/d) will be based in Andernach and is welcome to join us for a 4-5-days week.
