What You’ll Do
- Provide EHS mentorship and compliance support to sites and Commercial/Service region managers to ensure compliance with regulatory and program requirements.
- Evaluate regional EHS conditions in collaboration with regional EHS leaders, assess risks and support the development of appropriate corrective action plans.
- Assist certain assigned aspects (technical, regulatory, reporting, permitting, compliance, financial, administrative, etc.) of Cytiva projects in accordance with relevant regulatory programs and Cytiva policies.
- Support EHS Leaders to drive key EHS Programs (Risk Management, Lockout Tagout, Contractor Safety, Inspections, etc.)
- Training Management (administration of digital tool & user support)
- Administrative support in Gensuite for case registration, follow-up on open actions, report generation and data analysis
- Coordinate the updates of documents and forms relevant for occupational health, safety and environment with EHS leaders, maintain revisions and libraries.
- Data evaluation of different projects with digital tools and Excel
- Support for EHS employee inquiries regarding training, procurement of PPE, ergo equipment and general process information
- Preparation of FAQs/brief instructions for employees and encouraging regional EHS communications
- Updates of the internal EHS homepage
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Environmental or Safety related science field, technical subject area, or other occupational health related certification
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in running EHS activities supporting a Site/Commercial/Service organization.
- Ability to simultaneously run multiple projects and other responsibilities, adjust to changing priorities and to make decisions with speed and accuracy based on available information. High degree of independence, fast learner.
- Strong communication skills towards internal customers
- Experience managing projects and EHS compliance.
- Very good handling of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Advanced Excel skills or willingness to learn (Basic Pivot, basic formula usage, etc.). Fast comprehension in new digital tools.
- Problem-solving and customer-oriented thinking, resilience, and dedication
- Proficient in English and one additional European language
- EHS Professional certifications (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit, NEBOSH or similar)
