Limbic Entertainment is seeking a talented and experienced DevOps engineer (f/m/d) to join our team.
As a DevOps engineer, you will accompany our projects from development to release, adding to and adjusting our build and deployment systems to the requirements of each project phase. You are experienced with DevOps processes and tools and are interested in applying them to game development projects. You are versatile in the programming languages and tools you use for creating workflows. The role brings you into contact with various departments and specializations, including our IT department for provisioning and setting up the required systems, programming for the detailed requirements of our build and deployment processes to production and design departments to build specialized interfaces to the build systems.
Your responsibilities include the following:
- Build and CI toolset (based on Jenkins)
- Crash reporting tools
- Interfaces to publisher or first parties systems (e.g. uploading builds, querying data, …)
- Interfaces to our versioning system
- Microsoft Teams integration
- In-house buildfarm
- Interfaces to Swarm code review tool
- Perforce support for the team
- Documentation for build, release and tools processes
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in DevOps, build engineering or related fields, ideally in the games industry
- Experience with
- relevant tools
- relevant programming languages
- C++ and C++ build chains
- Operating System administration experience
- Network/service programming expertise
- Use of English language (written and spoken)

- Experience in Unreal Engine 4 build and automation tools
- Experience in games programming, especially Unreal Engine 4 using C++
- You are a problem solver with a positive attitude towards complex problems
- High affinity to games, internet and emerging technologies
- Fluent in English
- EU citizenship or a valid working permit for Germany
