Job ID: 21645StandortRegensburg, DEFor the upcoming next exhaust gas legislation (Euro7) the further development of the NOx-Sensor is started. Main aim is to increase the accuracy and the lifetime of this electro-chemical sensor. This development is done in cooperation with an international partner. To achieve the targets of the project, your job will be the detailed investigations and validations of the new sensors.Your New Responsibilities
  • Initial operation of new sensor samples
  • Characterization of samples (measurements at laboratory, engine test bench and vehicle)
  • Definition and project coordination of the related measuring programs
  • Analyzing and critical discussion of the gained results (internally, externally and with the cooperation partner)
  • Documentation of the results and conclusions
  • If needed development of new sensor functionalities to improve the sensor performance in terms of accuracy and / or lifetime
  • Taking care of a part of the related development equipment (maintenance and improvements)
  • Writing of new data analysis tools or updating of existing tools if needed
Your Qualification
  • Degree in physics or in electrical engineering (or comparable background)
  • Long-term professional experience in engineering area and deepth Knowledge about exhaust gas systems and exhaust gas sensors
  • Advanced Knowledge about embedded µControllers (Hardware & Software)
  • First experience in the field of sensor development would be an advantage
  • Knowledge about automotive processes and the related tools would be beneficial
  • Programming skills (at least to be able to write the own data analysis tools)
  • Fluent German and English language skills (working language will be German)
  • Analytical thinking, team spirit and goal-oriented working style, intercultural competencies
