Location: hybrid style of work (office in Paderborn + home office)

Position Overview

In the role of Software Developer (m/f/d) with focus on frontend you will strengthen one of our agile delivery teams with your expertise, especially in the development of new and existing HTML based applications to ensure a consistent software solution across the many products.

The team you will be part of serves one of DN´s biggest global retail customer – you will join a highly motivated team that strives for innovative solutions supporting customer needs from today and from tomorrow.

You are responsible for
  • Analyzing and estimating incoming Change Requests together with the team and the customer
  • close alignment (i.e. in standup meetings) with delivery team, proactive notification in case of showstoppers or risks
  • Implementation of Change Requests, improving existing solutions and bug fixing
  • Supporting the continuous development of existing products in close collaboration with the software developers, business analysts and product owners
  • Taking over DevOps activities like
    • monitoring business alerts
    • cloud service updates
    • deployment to the cloud
  • Close alignment (i.e. in standup meetings) with delivery team, proactive notification in case of showstoppers or risks

Experience In The Following Technologies/tools Highly Recommended
  • Frontend:
    • Angular9 (min Angular2)
      • TypeScript
      • (S)CSS
    • NgRx
    • Nodejs
  • Backend:
    • C# / .NET Core
    • REST (ASP.NET Core)
    • SQL
  • Environment:
    • Cloud Computing (Azure)
  • Tools:
    • Microsoft Visual Studio
    • Atlassian Suite (Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket)
Qualifications
  • University degree in electrical engineering, information technology or comparable training or experience
  • At least 2 years’ experience in software development with focus on frontend technologies
  • English and German language skills on a professional level
  • You are keen to take responsibility for your work
  • You are a team player and motivated to deliver solutions that fit the customer´s need
  • Knowledge of the Retail Technology market are beneficial
