Position Overview

Diebold Nixdorf is a strategic, collaborative, end-to-end provider of services, software, hardware and security. With our clients around the world, we’re driving connected commerce for the future of banking and retail. We are seeking a Quality Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team to provide quality engineering support for a defined product or process area and to engage with assigned stakeholders to understand projects and expectations from a quality perspective.

Responsibilities

With limited guidance performs Quality Engineering duties, including:
    • Collecting and analyzing product requirements and other relevant data for planning tests
    • Performing test development and setup
    • Executing quality control tests
    • Developing analysis reports
    • Working with Quality Engineering team members and product / technical stakeholders to identify, analyze and develop resolution strategies for typical technical problems
    • Assisting with test automation associated with product development, integration, performance and benchmarking
    • Monitoring production / maintenance processes to identify issues, perform failure analysis and contribute to corrective action decision-making so that our customers receive high quality and functional products
    • Supporting a product development team from concept to production
    • Strong collaboration skills within R&D
    • Planning, executing and documentation of tests in development projects
    • Failure issue analysis and work on solutions together with the development team
Requirements
    • Bachelor or Master mechatronics, mechanical engineering or similar
    • Structured and independent working methods
    • Innovative way of thinking
    • German and English language skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Interest in highly complex mechatronic assemblies
  • Knowledge of physics (dynamics) and of mechatronic elements
  • Working with 2D/3D tools
  • Knowledge in Q-methods and statistical analysis in Excel or Minitab
  • Knowledge of JIRA Problem Management
  • MS-Office
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Experience of mechatronic component development
Positionsübersicht

Als Teil der Testabteilung in der Produktentwicklung von Cash-Recycling-Systemen sind Sie an der Entwicklung neuer Cash-Systeme beteiligt und arbeiten mit globalen Projektteams zusammen. Hier sind Sie für die Risikobewertung und die spätere Qualität der Produkte verantwortlich. Darüber hinaus sind Sie für die Qualität im Life-Cycle-Management-Projekt für selbstentwickelte Systeme und auch OEM Komponenten verantwortlich.

Sie sind verantwortlich für
    • qualitativ hochwertige und funktionale Produkte und damit zufriedene Kunden
    • die Begleitung eines Produktentwicklungsteams vom Konzept bis zur Fertigung
    • die enge Zusammenarbeit innerhalb der Entwicklung
    • die Planung, Durchführung und Dokumentation von Tests in Entwicklungsprojekten
    • die Analyse von Fehlerproblemen und Erarbeitung von Lösungen zusammen mit dem Entwicklungsteam
Qualifikationen
    • Bachelor- oder Masterabschluss in Maschinenbau, Mechatronik oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung
    • Strukturierte und selbständige Arbeitsweise
    • Innovative Denkweise
    • Deutsche und englische Sprachkenntnisse
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
    • Interesse an hochkomplexen mechatronischen Baugruppen
    • Kenntnisse in Physik (Dynamik) und von mechatronischen Elementen
