Achieva are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Category Manager to work for a leading pharmaceutical company based in Germany.The ideal candidate is someone who has long term experience in supply chain management, experience within NCE, NBE and ATMP and holds a Masters degree/ equivalent. The role also allows for some home working.Tasks And Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for global categories
  • Guarantee a supply which leads to revenue growth for products
  • Lead cross functional teams that innovate processes which result in external cost reduction
  • Contribute to new ideas across category projects and lead them to success
Requirements
  • Masters’ degree or diploma in business administration, pharmacy or chemistry
  • Long term experience in supply management on a global basis for a pharma company, ideally in global category management
  • 10-15 years experience working within GxP environments
  • Knowledge of demand management, market supplier analysis, due diligence, risk management, contract and supplier management
