Now, we are powered by 50,000 employees globally who nurture a diverse, collaborative and inclusive culture.THE POSITIONAs newest member of CBD Finance & Group Functions Global Facilities & Engineering (GFE) bundles Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), Security, Real Estate & Facility Management and Engineering globally, striving to serve the site network of Boehringer Ingelheim as strong infrastructure and business partner.As part of the Global Engineering Compliance Team, the Senior Global Compliance Manager will be accountable for standardization and harmonization for complex quality systems and will be responsible for quality system governance within GFE.As Senior Global Compliance Manager you will represent GFE organization in the QMS global team/network.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesAs Senior Global Compliance Manager in Global Engineering Compliance organization, you will bring in your skills in quality management systems to ensure lean implementation and continues improvement of the quality standards for e.g. deviations, changes, CAPAs across GFE worldwide. You will promote state of the art compliance, quality achievement and performance improvement throughout GFE organization, including but not limited to:- Management of a team in a matrix organization of representatives from sites and functions within GFE within GFE for defined system to cover all quality relevant aspects to be in compliance with internal/external requirements.
- Insurance of adequate system oversight of the defined system, KPI reporting by regular reports on quality system maturity and effectiveness, continuous improvement and need for action.
- Provision of quality input and leading of quality relevant decision processes within the division as main driver and ensure implementation.
- In cooperation with GMSO Quality and DMSOs Business Units you will be responsible for effectiveness and harmonization for BI quality systems.
- Diploma or master’s degree (MBA, MSC) with major focus on Pharmaceutical / Natural Sciences or Biotechnology, preferable with a Ph.D. and more than 8 years of job experience in pharmaceutical Quality Control/Assurance or Production.
- At least 3 years leadership experience in leading international projects.
- In-depth knowledge of GxP regulations and quality regulations/guidelines (e.g. EMA/Europe, FDA/USA, Anvisa/Brazil, CFDA/China, ICH, WHO etc.) and in data integrity
- Extensive pharmaceutical system knowledge
- Project Management skills in a complex international environment of multiple projects
- Effective team player and ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Proficient communication skills in English (verbal and written), skills in German would be an advantage
