Duties

The Escort and Administrative Rover position provides cleared escort services throughout the Post’s secured areas and basic administrative clerical support to offices within the Post as assigned. Assignment or rotation is generally required due to secured escort requirement, clerical staffing gap, or short-term spikes in basic administrative workload.


Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: Minimum one-year office or administrative work experience is required.


JOB KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of office management and core administrative processes. Comfortable with computer use including email and the internet. Working knowledge of basic software packages (MS Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and required formats to recognize and correct such errors in correspondence, reports, and memos.

Completion of High School is required.

LANGUAGE: English - Good working knowledge; speaking, reading & writing. THIS WILL BE TESTED


SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to use computer and basic software skills.

A “certification” is any written document from the armed forces that certifies the service member is expected to be discharged or released from active duty service in the armed forces under honorable conditions within 120 days after the certification is submitted by the applicant. Acceptable documentation must be submitted in order for the preference to be given.
