Einleitung

SOS Children’s Villages is a non-governmental organisation focused on supporting children without parental care, that is active in 138 countries worldwide. SOS Kinderdörfer weltweit Hermann-Gmeiner-Fonds Deutschland e.V. is part of the SOS Federation. Our mission is to accompany children in need into a better future. In our Munich office, as well as in our offices in Berlin and Düsseldorf, more than 150 employees ar committed to our vision "A loving home for every child - for a strong generation of tomorrow."

For the expansion of our team, that administrates our scholarship holders all over the world, we are looking for a trainee (m/f/d) in full-time for 2 years based in our office in Munich.

Your responsibilities:

  • Information and contract management, administration and data maintenance for all scholarship program participants
  • Processing of funding applications and payments (SAP, MS Office/Access)
  • Budget planning and controlling for scholarship program
  • Communication with scholarship holders and their countries of origin
  • Collaboration in the further development of the program and the associated process optimization
  • Collaboration in the selection and introduction of tools required for the job
  • Close cooperation with colleagues in Scholarship Hubs in Africa, Asia and South America.

Your profile:

  • You successfully completed your studies with a focus on human resources, NGO management or you have completed a comparable education or have experience related to the field, including after vocational training in commerce.
  • You have very good command of English; another foreign language such as German, Spanish or French is an advantage
  • You have very good knowledge of or interest in the administrative and commercial aspects of a scholarship program.
  • You have very good skills in MS-Office and knowledge of SAP and/or MS-Access
  • You are keen to take on existing tasks and consistently optimize them as well as significantly develop the processes of the scholarship program.
  • You are a team player with a positive attitude, hands-on-mentality and get things done
  • You have a huge attention to detail and data accuracy
  • You are flexible in navigating a complex and fast changing environment and have the ability to prioritize effectively when faced with multiple requests
  • You are proactive and bring forward innovative ideas for improvements
  • You have an analytical mindset with an affinity for critical thinking
