We are looking for a System Engineer Hardware/Software (f/m/d) - Automotive at our Unterschleißheim location.

YOUR CHALLENGES

  • Support of the hardware and software development of automotive interior components for premium OEM automotive customers
  • Interface between our European automotive customers and development, quality and production teams in Japan, Korea and China
  • Provide technical know-how for the local project team during all phases of development, starting from requirement analysis, development of prototypes and mass-production parts to component testing and manufacturing
  • Design and construction of prototypes for proof of concept and customer presentation

YOUR PROFILE

  • Successfully completed studies in the area of computer science, electrical/electronic or mechatronic engineering or similar
  • Working experience in embedded hardware and software development and integration of networked control units
  • Well-grounded experience in the development and testing of electronic or electromechanical components, ideally in the automotive field
  • Knowledge of LIN/CAN bus networks and automotive standards such as ISO 15504 (SPICE) and ISO 26262 (automotive safety) an advantage
  • Customer and solution-oriented thinking, communication skills and experience in driving technical projects
  • Very good German and English written and spoken language skills
  • Willingness to travel to customer and development locations
