In support of UPS Capital’s accelerated Digital Transformation it is essential to acquire additional talent to the newly established Customer Engagement team. JOB DESCRIPTION
UPS Capital is seeking a dynamic, creative, fun and experienced Solutions Engagement Manager with a disruptive mind set and the passion to transform our customer’s business challenges into solutions that drive UPS Capital revenue growth. Besides being heavily focused on enhancing overall customer experience by creating new digital solutions, this person is equipped with strong technical skills and knows how to determine and leverage on customers’ business needs. He/She will lead a team of sales engineers and business analysts that collaborates closely with Sales to position digital connectivity solutions including, but not limited to DFT or API. Profound experience with project management, customer data integrations within a highly demanding cross-functional business growth environment is mandatory.

The Solutions Engagement Manager plays a key role in developing, expanding and implementing our suite of customer-centric digital solutions and platforms in Europe. This role collaborates with the Agile, Digital Customer Experience, Operations, Finance and Sales team to manage integration projects for existing and new accounts that align to our Digital Strategy and financial goals in Europe. He/She maintains strong customer relationships during pre-sales conversations and post-sales implementations. He/She describes how our digital solutions seamlessly connect into the customer journey map and empower our customers to achieve their business goals. This position provides leadership and development to the members of his/her team, driving communication and technical skill levels as well as enhancing customer focused business acumen.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Thinks strategically to provide customers with solutions, while also suggesting areas for growth and improvement internally
- Establishes timelines and project plans for implementation
- Understands customer requirements and scopes solutions
- Engages with insurance customers to implement digital connectivity solutions
- Delivers reliable integrations and facilitates other technical interactions with focus upon the customer journey
- Leads technical discussions with customers throughout project delivery
- Prioritizes tasks with the Customer Engagement team to achieve KPI
- Leads and develops employees to ensure quality and production goals are met
- Monitors business performance metrics (i.e. long-term customer value, NPS, net margin)
What you’ll need:
- University/Master Degree
- 5+ years of experience in a technical customer implementation role
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Understanding of JSON, REST API, Java, PHP, or Python and JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience implementing solutions in a SaaS based environment
- Strong Analytical, creative and writing skills
- Deep technical curiosity on how to apply technology to create customer value
- Ability to travel to meet and support sales teams and strategy development sessions
- Demonstrates success dealing with ambiguity in a high growth environment
- Passion for digital transformation and business processes
- Flexibility to work in a rapidly changing environment with a positive work attitude
- Proven self-starter with project management skills
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a team-oriented environment
- Fluency in English (both written and oral)
