This is a freelance position in the automotive sector, 98% remote, there can be several trips to the office in Germany. Duration of the project - 6 months.

The ideal start of the project is on 1st of September.

Fluent German is a must-have.

Tasks
  • Design, coordinate and optimize the architectural software design and architectural concepts in the automotive field; further development and improvement of the engineering processes
  • Project management of software system architecture- Define, develop and document the interfaces of software elements
  • Represent software architecture designs in the department and the control unit projects- Using development tools, like software design tools (SYSML and UML based), requirement tools, system description (ARXML), or others
  • Collaboration with other agile teams and associated experts for the ASPICE & SAFe-compliant development of automotive software

Requirements
  • Several years of experience in software development, preferably in the automotive industry with Tier 1-2 companies with a deep understanding of software architectural design for electric control units/embedded systems, its development process and the AUTOSAR standard (more application side)
  • Very good knowledge about model-based function development with MATLAB / Simulink and dSPACE TargetLink, agile methodology-
  • Fluent German and English language skills
