In this role, you will join Team Candidate with the mission to empower medical staff to take control of their professional life 24h a day.

To further strengthen our engineering team in Berlin, we are looking for a

(Senior) Fullstack JavaScript Developer (f/m/d)

Tasks

  • Join the cross-functional team that develops Mein doctari, our supply-side web app for doctors and nurses.
  • Be your team’s expert in building and running backend services written in JavaScript on AWS.
  • Use modern technologies to architect, develop, and test a software that impacts the daily business of numerous medical professionals.
  • Collaborate with our business departments and product organisation in collecting and defining business requirements and deliver innovative solutions that are scalable, affordable, and flexible.
  • Work with fellow engineers to refine our architecture, drive technical topics, and share knowledge across the tech organisation.
Requirements

  • You have 4+ years experience in Node.js or a similar backend technology.
  • You bring along 2+ years experience architecting distributed systems with AWS or another cloud provider.
  • You have hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and automated tests.
  • You are experienced in working with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You have a valid working visa for Germany.
  • Nice to have:
  • You have exposure to some of our tech stack (JavaScript/TypeScript, Terraform, AWS Lambda, Kafka, ElasticSearch, RDS, React) and tools (GitHub, AWS, Jira, Confluence, MS Teams).
  • You are experienced in frontend development.
  • AWS certifications would be great.
  • German language skills would be a plus.
