In short: Onsite first position (in Berlin or Münster) with remote flexibility. Build an awesome app with Typescript/React Native and a safe and profound backend with Python/Django. Become part of an experienced team and enjoy a steep leaning curve while tackling one of the largest societal challenges.

You are joining at the very best point of time, as our venture is gaining strong momentum right now. Important milestones have been reached or are only a few weeks ahead:

• Surveyed several thousand potential customers
• Developed a Minimum Viable Product for iOS and Android
• Achieved strong user engagement metrics in our closed beta
• Currently raising a six-digit financing round
  

Tasks

• You’ll work as Full-Stack Developer being able to independently promote and implement your own projects in close collaboration with our product team
• You feel confident to switch between business and tech perspective raising your voice and sharing your thoughts frequently.
• Over the next years, you’ll be able to create a team of other great developers around you.
  

Requirements

• You have built apps using React Native. We like to create a coherent user experience pushing forward new features and ideas as fast as possible.
• You have used Python and Django as a web framework. You feel confident with creating business logic with pinpoint accuracy.
• You have to care about scaling for production. Our beta users create hundred of thousands data points every day while using our app. If our active users grow, this figure will sky rocket and our backend needs to cope with it.
• You enjoy building a product from scratch. This means high involvement in the design process and understanding what the customer needs. It also means that you enjoy taking technical decisions.
• You love learning technologies as you go. You always want to find the right tool for the job; and don’t only follow what you already know.
• You care about more than just engineering quality. Whatever you do needs to have business impact as well. Sometimes it’s sensible to make trade-offs between speed and quality.
