You translate business strategy into standardized group financial processes, systems and KPI´s to enable the leaders´ decision making by leading a finance project.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• design cutting edge steering models and performance measurement concepts

• connect with numerous stakeholders within Zalando to understand business and steering needs

• design the project roadmap and lead the project from a business perspective

• educate and train colleagues on the use new concepts

• execute on identified improvement opportunities and be responsible for their successful adaptation

  
  

Examples of what you could be working on:

• Define and implement a holistic financial steering framework in an organization that is transitioning to a platform model for reporting, planning and analytics

• Develop a new concept for intercompany pricing and train affected stakeholders

• Drive the implementation of a new Finance Business Intelligence Tool from a business perspective

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

• hold an MBA, an M. Sc or an Ph.D. in Economics, Finance, Business or Engineering and have +5 years of relevant experience.
• have experience working on cross-functional initiatives
• have strong analytical & problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• have the need to understand where data is coming from and how tools can be optimized to leverage more data
• be an expert in your field and are comfortable to connect with stakeholders to understand business needs, to share your view, convince colleagues on the basis of concepts and facts.
• be able to communicate technically challenging topics in a concise, clear way and feel comfortable to work with colleagues that do not share your deep understanding on your topics.
• be fluent in English and have the capability to communicate clearly both verbally as well as written.
