Senior Electrical Engineer – Technical Building Services, Berlin

We’re putting together our team to spearhead the opening of our new Berlin office! This exciting opportunity provides the right candidate with the opportunity to join a company early in the growth phase, with the goal of building and managing supporting team. With endless career progression opportunities, this will suit an ambitious English & German speaking, experienced Senior Electrical MEP Design Engineer, with a hunger for success and obtaining the highest possible standards. This is a permanent role with an excellent package on offer for the right candidate.

The role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer in our team of Building Services engineers and Sustainability experts in the new Berlin Office, you will:

• Lead all new European engineering projects related to your expertise
• Develop project scopes with design team and clients, including budgeting and reporting
• Assist Directors with larger scale projects including Commercial, Hotel, Residential, Cultural, Healthcare and more
• Promote IN2 within the German and European markets
• Provide mentoring support to junior members of staff via IN2 Academy
• Become one of the pillars of IN2 Europe
• Report directly to the board of directors
• Diversify IN2 services

To do so,

We’re looking for people who have…

• >5 years of experience in Electrical Design, ideally within a Consultancy environment
• Working experience in the different Leistungsphäse 1-9
• Knowledge of HOAI requirements
• Project management experience
• Experience in LV, MD and fire safety
• Good understanding of German engineering norms (DIN, VDI…)
• Fluent in German and English
• Experience in sustainability design and certification structures (DGNB, BREEAM DE…)
• Willingness to join a multidisciplinary team and ready to get hands on
