They act as the designer, builder and manager of the weGrow management information system to have the pulse of GBS performance levels. They make sure that the weGrow data ecosystem runs flawlessly so that GBS has the data stories it needs to drive continuous improvement.Tasks & Responsibilities



  • As Senior Business Data Architect, you serve as interface between technical experts and non-technical audiences by translating business requirements into technical and data specifications.
  • You upgrade the existing weGrow system by integrating future data management technologies based on the IT roadmap and ensure a flawless data ecosystem in order to drive GBS-wide improvement.
  • In close collaboration with KPI Performance Managers and GBS Leaders (L2/L3), you build scalable, maintainable and testable KPIs that fit for all GBS Towers and keep our organization running smoothly.
  • In order to create a good user experience for our stakeholders, you review dashboard-reporting requirements and design sustainable solutions.
  • When it comes to estimating the complexity and cost of alternative solutions, you are the expert and give advice/guidance to the leadership teams.
  • Furthermore, you develop highly scalable management information systems and ensure that valuable business performance insights are always accessible to GBS Senior Leaders in the countries.

Requirements



  • Master’s degree or equivalent with several years of relevant work experience and a strong IT background, alternatively bachelor’s degree with long term work experience
  • Initial work experience as Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Data Scientist or a comparable role
  • Proficient knowledge in SQL, query design and SAP BW, experience with Power BI, R, Python or Java are an asset
  • Good knowledge of business reporting, data visualization and modelling practices as well as of data quality principles
  • Profound project leading skills paired with an entrepreneurial and Business Partner oriented mindset
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills in an international environment
