Job DescriptionSenior Advanced Quality Engineer (m/f/d)What can you expect?Adient is a global leader in automotive seating. Our integrated, in-house skills allow us to take our products from research and design to engineering and manufacturing — and into millions of vehicles every year.What will your responsibilities be?
  • Coordinate and lead quality deliverables in accordance to Adient Launch System and customer specific requirements
  • Work in interdisciplinary team to develop high class car seats
  • Plan, organize and implement preventive actions in the projects
  • Customer communication about quality related issues
  • Give quality input in DFMEA and PFMEA workstreams and create related control plans
  • Coordinate corrective actions in case of product deviations (8-D reporting)
  • Support launch activities physically in the JIT plant
  • Reporting of the APQP status in the program
  • Apply and develop Adient Business Operating System
  • Coordinate PPAP activities to achieve customer approval in time
Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?
  • Bachelor’s degree or adequate education
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience on quality related activities in a development and/or production Automotive environment
  • Experience with OEM’s and/or Supplier
  • Experience in seating and/or with Mercedes (not mandatory)
  • Trained in Quality Management Standards VDA 2, VDA 6.3, IATF 16949
  • Application of QMS tools and techniques : APQP, FMEA, Inspection planning, SPC, DOE
  • Experience in the automotive industry (not mandatory)
  • Knowledge in PC software applications (Microsoft Office)
  • English and German – fluent
  • Willingness to travel
