We’re looking for a Senior Accounting & Controlling Manager (m / f / d) to join our team. Be responsible for financial forecasts and reports, day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks. It’s an excellent opportunity to enter the booming AI space and join a fast-growing scale up.

fraud0 is an AI Bot Detection company backed by some of Europe’s best software investors and serial entrepreneurs. We help online businesses detect fake and fraudulent ad impressions and clicks, preventing ad budget losses and improving the digital experience for valid human traffic.

Aufgaben

  • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO/president and members of the executive management team
  • Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, prepare and report activities for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results
  • Compare sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; make any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets
  • Process accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and bank accounts
  • Verify, allocate, post, reconcile, and resolve discrepancies to ensure the accuracy of accounting information
  • Manage invoices and travel expenses
  • Monthly reportings of VAT and tax authorities
Qualifikation

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Extensive experience in general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting
  • Experience in reporting of group companies
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Independent and goal-oriented way of working
  • Reliability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • DATEV knowledge (big plus)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in German and English
