Redakteur E-Commerce (m/w/d)

Location: Mainz, Remote

Your field of action

• Creation: You develop and write exciting and technically appropriate texts for our blog and our whitepapers as well as magazines (eCOM|MAG). In addition, you create professional articles on digitization and e-commerce topics and case studies on our implemented projects - all in close cooperation with colleagues and external agencies.
• Topic identification: You research interesting content for our target groups and personas and find out about current topics and trends in e-commerce.
• Optimizations: When creating content, you take into account the topics of SEO, target group relevance, traffic increase, conversion & lead generation.
• Revise: You edit and optimize texts of your colleagues or guest authors.
• Strategy: Together with the marketing team, you design the content for our own channels and PR measures.
• Further training and freedom: You constantly expand your horizons through internal and external training.
• Social Media: You manage and fill our social media channels with our current topics and constantly keep an eye on the relevance of the respective content.
• Supporting other colleagues: For example, you support the HR marketing team in creating teasers for events.
  

What Distinguishes You

• Passion: You have a great passion for writing texts.
• Understanding: You have the ability to present complex technical issues in a simple and understandable way / prepare them for the appropriate target audience.
• Knowledge: You have knowledge in the field of e-commerce and digitalization and bring a high affinity for IT or are willing to familiarize yourself with the topics.
• Work experience: You have editorial - preferably journalistic - work experience and experience in the e-commerce/digitization/IT environment.
• Languages: You have a good command of German spelling, a good feel for text and enjoy working on complex topics, as well as a good command of English.
• Softskills: open, likeable manner and strong communication skills, efficient, reliable way of working, a high degree of initiative and self-organization.
