Project Manager – Datacentres – Mechanical - Germany


The company looking to engage the Project Manager is well known to this agency. It is a large main contractor with projects both domestically and internationally. The company would suit a candidate who is proactive, a good communicator and focused on getting the required task completed.

Project: A large datacentre (D&B) to be completed by the company from Greenfield site to commissioning and handover.

Location: Germany

Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will take the lead ensuring the project is delivered to expectation from a mechanical perspective right through to commissioning ad handover.
Duties will include short term programming, site logistics, supervising and managing engineers and subcontractors, ordering materials and providing technical advice.
Coordination with both the CSA and electrical lead on the project.
You will also have oversight on project reporting, be confident to chair design team/client meetings and ensure strict health and safety standards are maintained.

Requirements:

Previous experience datacentres would be useful but not essential for candidates with industrial/pharma experience.
This is a PM role so an understanding of planning and cost awareness is essential and a third level qualification would be desirable.

The company will offer a very attractive salary package for the right candidate which will include return flights every 2 weeks, accommodation etc.
