We are excited to be expanding our UK team. We are seeking a Photographic Equipment Buyer to contribute to our growth as a best-in-class organization.

About The Role

As a Photographic Equipment Buyer, you will work within our Berlin based buying team, and will be responsible for procuring photographic equipment for purchase by MPB. The role will involve communicating with potential sellers to help answer any queries on the selling process, and optimise the conversion of leads from initial offer through to a completed sale.

This will include but is not limited to:

• Communicating with potential sellers both on the phone and via email to engage with and maximise value from leads.
• Maintaining the highest levels of customer communication
• Efficient management of the lead pipeline
• Issuing quotations for photographic equipment
• Maintaining quote data and analysing this weekly to ensure performance targets are being met
• Operating a sales-led approach to securing stock that is guided and driven by quarterly purchasing targets
• Responsible for producing phone lists to contact customers with existing quotes
• Liaising closely with the Product Specialist team to ensure all transactions are dealt with efficiently and customer satisfaction is maintained
• Proactively highlighting and solving any issues that could affect customer satisfaction or retention

Requirements

• Previous experience in the photography/videography industry with proven knowledge and understanding of camera products.
• Previous sales or customer service experience would be an advantage.
• You will be fluent in both German and English and possess excellent written communication skills. Any other language skills are highly beneficial as well.
• Must be a Berlin resident with right to work in Germany
