The client is looking for a Network/Telecommunications Specialist (m/f/d) with immediate effect until the end of the year.

Tasks
  • Co-ordinates technical proposed solutions and other information topics from internal/external providers to ensure compliant and cost-effective telecommunications/network solutions for the division and the group
  • Co-ordinates divisional initiatives that require Global involvement
  • To be the SME in the design and implementation of telecommunications/network standards in the division to support and collaborate with decentral IT telecommunications infrastructure experts regarding WAN, LAN & Voice Services,....
  • To ensure all designs are scaleable meeting both the business requirements are supportable.
  • Solutions are implemented in a way that does not jeopardise the existing infrastructure and that all designs meet the requirements of the business. Pre and post implementation assessments need to be carried out to ensure that solutions operate effectively and can be supported.
  • Collaborates with SMEs from other divisions regarding new and existing Telecom components (routers, call managers and network devices) facilitating and delivering cost effective Telecom services to the business
  • Actively researches the Telecom market place, identifying technologies and products consistent with global standards. Assessing solutions that are scaleable and supportable in line with global standards
  • To assist and szupport Divisional Head of IT Service Management
  • Responsible for the governance execution of new Telecoms/network standards, ensuring minimum disruption and impact to relevant business targets/demands
  • Responsible for ensuring all implementations follow the agreed standards, and any variations are approved prior to implementation.
  • Tracking governance execution in close collaboration with decentral country organizations
  • Ensuring compliance to group wide technical IT standards (network and TC)
Workload: Part-time, 50 - 60 %

Locations: Remote and on site in Bonn
