We are keen to hire aMarketplace Analytics Lead (m/f/d) to test and evaluate the impact of our optimisations on customer (both Rider and Driver) behaviour and harmonise market performance.
Marketplace sits at the core of our business and collaborates with various departments to manage demand and supply balance with data analysis and the right strategies to create impact across multiple markets. To do so, we deep dive into the fundamentals of each aspect and drive strategic initiatives, processes and features for greater product and operational excellence.
Your responsibilities as the Marketplace Analytics Lead include managing the analytics support for the following domains and providing overarching strategic guidance for: Customer Payments, Partner Payouts, Allocation & Match Making , Pricing, Credit Risk and Frauddomains.
We are looking for a hands-on, motivated individual who is ready to explore new ideas, and work with us to refine, build and implement changes to help drive our business’s success. You will be exposed to a multitude of functional areas across FREE NOW as you work on pivotal initiatives to improve our customer experience.
You can join us either in one of our offices in Hamburg, Berlin or Barcelona.
Your role:
- You will lead a team of 6+ analysts working in the Pricing, Fulfilment and Financial products domains
- Being fast-paced, dynamic and proactive is paramount to our success in creating lasting impact for our end users. As we continue to spearhead new initiatives, the ability to work in cross functional teams, refine business processes and derive data-backed solutions and improvements remains crucial in driving the achievement of our business goals.
- You will identify, scope and recommend actions that drive continuous improvements to the way we fulfil our Supply expectations, mapping it with efficient rider experience and promote its adoption across all markets
- You will strategize and influence the product in collaboration with the product leads and directors helping business stakeholders
- Effectively align with Product Heads, Leads and Managers on initiatives and data discoveries to achieve quarterly OKRs
- You will work closely with the data leadership to align projects and remove blockers
- Analyzing and solving business problems with focus on understanding root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities
- Deep dive on data to uncover actionable insights for known and unknown problems
- Design and evaluate A/B test experiments or other analyses to measure and report the performance of released features
- Supporting with input forecasting using trend analysis and statistical modeling to drive decision making
- You will work with large, interesting data sets including historical, real time and third party data streams
- Bring new insights and champion them using dashboards and good storytelling! We value ideas over hierarchy, and there’s always a new path to follow if your idea is convincing and well backed with data
Your profile:
You are a problem solver, detail-oriented and self-motivated who thrives in an innovative, highly motivated environment, combining technical, product, business and leadership perspectives. Further key aspects of your profile are:
- Excellent communication skills and capable of interacting and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders in management of end-to-end processes and projects
- Experience leading and developing top performing teams
- A history of leading and supporting successful projects
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Comfortable in working with data and ability to draw insights from data sets and devise practical and scalable data-driven solutions
- Ability to define project objectives, resources, timelines and methodologies clearly to all stakeholders
- Proactiveness in discovering new ways of getting things done
- Curiosity and openness to new challenges that helps you grow beyond your role
- Very good knowledge of SQL and databases
- Experience in working with predictive models and significant knowledge of statistical programming tools (e.g. R, Python)
- Experience in working with Data Visualisation tools (e.g.Tableau, Qlikview)
- Fluent proficiency in Business English
- University degree in Maths, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or other quantitative disciplines is a plus
- Your enthusiasm about implementing advanced analytics and the will to play an essential role in the future of urban transport, make you an ideal candidate for this position
- Prior experience in handling Marketplace domain, payment products and Revenue assurance is a plus
