The EU Partner Operations group at Wayfair in Berlin is looking for a senior manager to join our Fulfillment Speed & Reliability team. As a team, we work on improving the delivery experience of our customers by optimizing our delivery promises. We use data insights to identify opportunity areas and support cross-functional projects to drive operational improvements and build smarter prediction logic.

What You’ll Do
  • Leverage data to identify the right opportunities, shape the roadmap, and deliver impact to improve the speed and reliability of our customer delivery promises
  • Shape the delivery promises agenda and pushing the frontier how Wayfair drives step change improvements at scale; including leveraging technology for faster, more automated and better decision making
  • Own and deliver high profile analytical projects in the area of speed and reliability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on a global scale with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to deliver and optimize technology for faster, more automated, and better decision making according to EU business goals
  • Comprehend, extract, and massage information from complex data sources including sales, operations, logistics, product, and customer databases to deliver business insights and recommendations
  • Become a subject matter expert on the topic of lead times, speed guarantees on our website, and customer delivery promises to ensure accurate and proper interpretation of core business metrics and system settings
  • Lead a small team of business analysts to perform deep-dive analysis on supply chain fulfillment performance, including the application of advanced analytical techniques, to solve critical and complex business problems
What You’ll Need
  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience in an analytics, business intelligence, or project management role
  • At least a couple of years of experience in managing a small team
  • Proficient knowledge of SQL. Other structured programming languages (Python, R) a plus
  • Hands-on experience conducting quantitative analyses on large data sets; experience with Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, etc.) and Data Studio or other data visualization tools
  • Solution-oriented & curious mindset and the desire to not only generate great insights, but also see things through to drive impact
  • Strong commercial awareness, business acumen, problem solving skills
  • Bachelors or Masters in a relevant field with strong academic record
  • A desire to work in and improve upon a fast-paced technology-driven business environment
  • Ecommerce or supply chain analytics experience a strong plus
