Job Summary/Purpose:

Reporting to the Head Legal, Biopharma Commercial & Medical, this position has responsibility for providing legal advice and services related to all activities of the Biopharma Commercial & Medical group within the Sandoz Legal Global Functions (GLF) team, focus of Healthcare Professional (HCP) and Healthcare Organization (HCO) engagements, in close collaboration with the other legal groups within the GLF team.

Your Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Support the Biopharma functions on all relevant legal and contractual aspects, in particular by acting as a direct business partner in activities such as:

  • Preparing, drafting and managing different type of contracts related to HCP/HCO engagements and events
  • Advising on all contractual questions, negotiations, signatures etc. during the contacting process
  • Delivering specific legal guidance and trainings to global teams
  • Managing and supporting needed compliance approvals, documen-tation and process
  • Preparation and collection of needed documents
  • Providing legal advice on all HCP/HCO engagements related aspects with cross-functional business teams
  • Ensuring legal compliance and adherence to Sandoz policies and procedures and full integration into the Sandoz culture and support resource

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Law school graduate & Bar member or eligibility
  • Fluency in English essential
  • Min. of 5-7 years post Bar experience required: ideally gained within a healthcare / pharmaceutical environment, or alternatively, with a top-tier law firm representing healthcare clients
  • Documented success in drafting international contracts
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues, and translate them to non-lawyers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability and openness to learn and grow
