Your future team

Your team will consist of iOS, Android, Java Backend and JavaScript/React frontend engineers. The team focuses on improving our native applications as well as the services we offer to our customers after they have made their booking. Together with your team you will build innovative features that improve our customer experience and make sure that our customers come back to Holidu.

Our Tech Stack

  • We are writing our applications with a micro-service approach, using Java 11 with Spring Boot, running on Kubernetes.
  • Data storage with Elasticsearch 7, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.
  • Streaming and queuing systems like Kafka and ActiveMQ.
  • Heavy usage of AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Git.
  • Web and Node.js applications written with TypeScript.
  • Native iOS and Android Apps written with Swift and Kotlin.
  • Monitoring with ELK, Grafana and internally developed technologies.
Your role in this journey

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers and Backend Engineers to deliver great products on iOS.
  • Develop efficient and reusable mobile components in Swift and architect reliable, performant and scalable mobile solutions.
  • Work data-driven to conduct experiments, find opportunities and monitor your work.
  • Proactively identify areas of improvement and advocate best practices.
Your backpack is filled with

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in building and deploying native iOS applications, ideally currently available in the App Store.
  • Solid engineering and coding skills.
  • Understanding of basic data structures and architectures.
  • Experience in communicating with customers, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, describe product features and technical designs.
  • Experience with other languages (Java, JavaScript) and platforms (Spring Framework, Node.js, React) is a plus.
