For our highly motivated and dedicated Finance Team, we are looking for an experienced Investor Relations Associate (m/f/d) as soon as possible. In this position, you will work closely with the Finance Team to manage the investor relations. This role is based at our headquarters in Berlin and will directly report to our Head of Strategic Finance & Investor Relations. Successful candidates (m/f/d) will bring a strong investor relations and communications background and relevant experience in a high-volume e-commerce environment.

Job Description

• Independent relationship management with your client map of Flink’s VC and strategic investors
• Help prepare the investor updates & reports and collaborate with the Finance and executive team to develop content and messaging
• Develop and maintain robust understanding of business drivers and metrics; identify/track key themes and topics for investor discussion to inform our team and executives on emerging trends
• Build models and leverage data analysis to understand complex relationships, identify key trends, and gain insight on our revenue/expense line items, drivers and scalability
• Conduct competitive and strategic analysis on Flink, its peers, and the industry as well as buy/sell-side trends to help keep management aware of the markets and investor views on Flink
• Communicate with investors and research analysts to drive understanding of Flink’s business strategy, results, expectations and business developments
• Be an internal resource across the organization to help facilitate consistent external messaging
  
  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent required (MBA is a plus, but not a requirement), with focus in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other relevant field
• Proven track record of successfully reporting quarterly results, managing multiple projects/deadlines and downing and driving topics independently
• High integrity to appropriately manage and protect highly confidential results as well as corporate information
• Several years of experience in Investor Relation, Corporate Finance, Corporate Reporting or Accounting for public companies; ideally in fast growing environment
• Outstanding financial and analytical skills as well as a strong business acumen combined with strong stakeholder management skills
• Proven track record in taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed to implement ideas in a fast paced environment with a solution-oriented mindset
• Demonstrated ability to work independently within ambiguity, identify and solve complex problems and effectively handle multiple competing priorities as well as manage deadlines under pressure
• Very good English and good German skills; other languages are an advantage
