Intern Cell based Assays - Recombinant and Gene Product Development (m/w/d)

Start: Asap, Duration: 6 months

We do that by challenging Status quo: We Innovate, We Collaborate and We Deliver. We are seeking an energetic, motivated and goal-oriented Intern to support Viral Vector Bioanalytics team. The Intern will support the development of robust and accurate bioanalytical methods to analyze Lentiviral Vectors. The Intern will also participate in providing analytical support to Viral vector process development. This includes hands-on experimental work with Lentiviral vectors in a futuristic lab with automation capabilities.

Main Responsibilities And Accountabilities

• Performing experimental work with Viral vectors including data analysis and communicating results to manager or project team in form of a report or a presentation
• Evaluation of results
• Operation of complex devices and processing/ preparation of raw data
• Creation and maintenance of records within internal documentation systems
• Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment in cooperation with in- or external service providers
  

Experience In The Following Areas Is An Advantage

• Cell culture technologies
• Molecular biotechnology technologies like ELISA, RT-PCR and/or ddPCR, FACS
  

Qualifications & Experience

• A University Degree in a relevant field of Science (e.g. Bachelor of Science or Masters of Science in biology)
• Very good spoken and written English
