Overview

The Damovo Group has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Interim Finance Executive to join our team, based in Germany. The initial requirement is for 4- 6 months, but for the right candidate, this opportunity may evolve into a full time position supporting the Damovo Group and our wider portfolio of companies.

The focus of this role is to support our Chief Executive Officer on several high priority projects including Debt Financing and Mergers & Acquisitions. This opportunity will suit a well-rounded CFO with extensive experience in both areas.

Key Responsibilities

The core responsibilities will include:

  • Directly lead specific high priority projects in the areas of debt financing and M&A
  • Execution of due diligence process in M&A transactions as well as identifying targets for inorganic growth
  • Take primary day to day responsibility for managing and expanding financing relationships with lenders
  • Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and to the members of the global Senior Management team
  • Provide comprehensive financial and project management reporting to the CEO, Senior Management, private equity ownership group and lenders
  • Establishing and developing relations with senior management, external partners, vendors and stakeholders
  • Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets
  • Manage the production and compilation of all lender, buyer and seller presentations
  • Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
  • Advising on long-term business and financial planning
Skills we are looking for
  • An MBA in Finance, Accounting or Economics is highly desirable
  • Proven experience and 10+ years of relevant finance and team management experience - preferably international
  • Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Experience in debt financing / raises
  • Experience in PE-owned business management or family offices
  • Experience in structuring and managing complex debt situations, refinancing and lender relationships
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • A hunger to execute and deliver optimal results for the business, as well as flourish in an entrepreneurial environment
  • In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis, budgeting and forecasting methods
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems
  • Strong leadership and presentation skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English is a must
