We are looking for a new colleague to lead our global ZF Wind Power Service Organisation at our location in Witten, Germany.

ZF Wind Power puts wind energy in motion! The ZF Wind Power Business Unit is part of ZF group which is known as one of the world’s leading automotive suppliers. Within our unit we develop, validate and service gear units used in wind turbines producing sustainable energy and we have been doing this for more than 40 years! Today we build new drivetrain solutions to meet the requirements of the future. As wind turbines continue to grow, we are continuously pushed outside of our engineering boundaries, which makes it a challenging engineering environment to work in.

Your tasks:

  • Establishing and leading a global service organization
  • Foster the growth of external ZF Wind Service Sales and increase the profitability of ZF Service business
  • Build-up and manage a balanced customer portfolio
  • Developing and launching new technical and digital service offerings to secure growth rates
  • Developing, operationalizing, and executing a strategy for ZF Wind Power Service to achieve strategic goals

Your profile:

  • Professional with many years of service experience, ideally within the Wind industry
  • Experience in running operations as well as profound engineering understanding, especially for gearboxes
  • Customer and result oriented leader with a global mindset and hands-on mentality who communicates effectively, and who is able to align all stakeholders on common goals
  • Digital native, strategic thinker with financial acumen who is passionate about driving innovation, initiatives and to inspire others
  • Excellent English communication skills and willingness to travel
