Finance Data Analyst - Intern

We are seeking an intern to support our Finance Data Analyst to strengthen the bridge between the Data and Finance teams.

In this role, you will be working in cross functional teams and provide valuable financial and data expertise that will help steer the business and profitability of our products in the future.

In your next challenge, you will:

• You will collaborate with stakeholders across the Product, Data, Marketing and Finance teams to analyse the business and drive its improvement.
• You will help lead the reporting needs for the Finance and adjacent business teams.
• You will support ad-hoc data requests helping the Finance, Executive team as well as Investor Relations teams. These requests are centered around answering questions like "What is the profitability of this user segment?".
• You will develop self-driven analyses on the financial performance of the business.
• Your analysis will lead to actionable insights, meaningful KPIs and dashboards for relevant stakeholders to make informed business decisions.

What you’ll need to be successful:

Background:

• You have a background in STEM or a Finance-related education with strong data analytics application.
• You are finishing your studies or have finished your studies and are looking for a 6 months long internship.
• Or, you have a diverse background appropriate for this role and would like to pivot into the Data Analytics space.

Skills:

• Outstanding analytics skills and attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of SQL for analytics
• Knowledge in financial modelling and good understanding ofaccounting principles
• You are creative, organised, self-motivated and a strong communicator
• Fluent in English
• Experience with Python as a data analytics language is a plus
