工作内容

The successful candidate will lead sales and client-relationship management, research markets and trends, recommends new products and services, and identifies opportunities for strategic partnerships:

Tasks
  • Actively seek new sales opportunities through meetings with potential clients, networking, and social media. Represent the company in exhibitions and conferences.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate/close contracts, and manage client satisfaction.
  • Develop and deliver professional presentations and marketing materials on products and services.
  • Conduct market research to evaluate customer needs, identify emerging trends, new or improved products, and potential partners.

Requirements

The position requires an experienced and motivated individual with a deep understanding of Lead Discovery research who feels comfortable reaching out to potential clients and communicating our services and products:
  • Ph.D. in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmacology or related Life Science discipline. In depth knowledge of applying biochemical and cell-based assay technologies in small molecule hit discovery, hit-to-lead, and lead optimization campaigns.
  • Domain expertise in commercial Drug Discovery and well-maintained network in the bio-pharmaceutical industry.
  • At least 5 years of business experience with a proven track record in both, Lead Discovery research, and commercial practice in Sales/Marketing/Business Development.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in English and German, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, and hands-on experience with CRM software.
