Ensure compliance of all dangerous goods across supply chain with main focus on North and South America. Deputy of global dangerous goods expert.
Responsibilities

Provide regional support to the global DG team on classification of dangerous goods, (ADR, ADN, RID, IMDG, IATA, 49FR)
Support tasks related to content updates in cooperation with global dangerous goods expert and Global Process Owner for SAP/EHS
Analysis and communication of new regulations, optimization of internal processes and interfaces, consultation regarding safety data sheets, transport documents and other
Packaging checks in cooperation with packaging consultants
Main contact person for all questions and issues regarding dangerous goods on regional level (internal and external) and internal trainings
Interface function between IT (Global Process Owner SAP/EHS), Master Data Governance, Regulatory Services and Business units
Experience

University degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or similar field
At least 3-5 years experience as dangerous goods specialist in chemical industry, experience as product safety specialist
Qualification as dangerous goods safety advisor for ADR, ADN, RID, IMDG, IATA, 49CFR
Profound knowledge in the area of national and international chemical legislation/ hazardous substances law
Experience in SAP/4HANA (EHS module), high level of analytical skills, excellent communication skills and strong customer orientation
Fluent in English; Spanish of advantage
