Grover makes access to tech easy, affordable, and sustainable—with flexible tech rental subscriptions. No deposits, no commitment, just tech when you want it for as long as you need it.

With around $1.3 billion in financing, Grover is one of Germany’s best-funded scale-ups, and we’re growing fast. Since 2015, we’ve gone from a small startup operating out of a Berlin apartment to a team of 500+ people, bringing flexible tech subscriptions to renters across Germany, Austria, the USA, Spain, and The Netherlands.

We are looking for a mid level HR Managerto join our talented Peopleteam hybrid (3 days minimum per week) at our Berlin HQ. This is a hybrid role across HR Admin & TalentAcquisition with thefocus depending on business needs.

As a HR Manager you will:

  • Support & manage global employee contracts and maintain the HR database to ensure flawless accuracy and GDPR compliance in time.
  • Provide excellent onboarding and off-boarding experience in regard to all HR administrative topics including communication with authorities, not only in Germany, but internationally.
  • Support the monthly payroll administration for Germany and international entities by maintaining related people data.
  • Support in recruitment efforts (active sourcing, screenings interviews) when needed.
  • Process and communicate German labour law in order to implement recommended policy updates to ensure proper compliance.
  • Manage HR related forms, confirmation and certificates with a high level of accuracy.
  • Bring a customer-focused approach to your work, helping to unpack an often complicated and overwhelming bureaucracy for a young, multicultural team!

We are looking for a passionate HR Manager with:

  • 3-5 years of experience within HR Administration & Talent Acquisition.
  • First experience in visa and relocation management (basic labour law knowledge for US, Portugal, Spain and Netherlands would be a plus).
  • Ability to keep up with fast scaling international environment without loosing track.
  • Must exercise infallible discretion with confidential, sensitive information - Meticulous attention to detail and time sensitivity is a must.
  • Good business judgment, and a capacity for hands on problem-solving to all work streams.
  • Experience with different HR/TA Tools is a plus (BambooHR, GreenHouse etc).
  • Strong active sourcing skills (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean, Xray, GitHub).
  • Native German (Must!), Fluent English. While our company language is English, this role often requires smooth communication with various authorities and local agencies.
